The Commerce Department organised a Jaipur outreach programme on using free-trade agreements, according to its 17 October release. Exporters and representatives of Rajasthan, DGFT, Jaipur SEZ and the gems-and-jewellery sector participated.
The discussion aimed to help businesses understand preferential market access and practical use of trade agreements. Exporters should verify product-specific rules and documentation with official trade authorities rather than assume every shipment qualifies for a preference.
