Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla met a Russian parliamentary delegation on 25 October ahead of the BRICS Parliamentary Forum. According to the Lok Sabha Secretariat, discussions covered parliamentary exchanges, cooperation in international institutions and counter-terrorism.
The two-day forum was scheduled for 26–27 October in the Parliament House complex. The announcement describes the programme; it does not confirm that every scheduled session has taken place.
