Vice-President C. P. Radhakrishnan inaugurated a conference on cooperative federalism and law reforms at Vigyan Bhawan on 22 October. The Law Commission of India organised the meeting, according to the Vice-President’s Secretariat.
He called for consultation, coordination and shared responsibility between the Centre and states. He also urged states to review obsolete laws and said political differences should not obstruct work in the wider public interest.
