NFDC–National Film Archive of India announced a four-day Ritwik Ghatak retrospective at its Law College Road auditorium in Pune, scheduled for 22–25 October. The programme includes restored features, 35mm prints, documentaries and unfinished-work fragments.
The 21 October announcement listed films including Meghe Dhaka Tara and Subarnarekha. It also highlighted Ghatak’s contributions to other filmmakers’ projects, offering viewers a wider view of his work beyond directing.
