Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri inaugurated the 29th Energy Technology Meet in Goa on 27 October, the ministry reported. The three-day meeting focuses on bringing energy research into commercial use.
The ministry described plans for a National Hydrocarbon Technology Hub to coordinate research involving public enterprises, industry, startups and research institutions. Discussions also covered energy supply resilience and alternative fuels. These are reported priorities and institutional plans, rather than a new consumer subsidy.
