Tawang to host Northeast tourism mart from October 29 to 31

The tourism ministry says buyers and service providers will meet in Arunachal Pradesh to discuss tourism products and business partnerships.

The 14th International Tourism Mart is scheduled in Tawang from October 29 to 31, according to the ministry's October 28 announcement. Presentations will cover all eight northeastern states, with structured business meetings planned for October 30.

Organisers expect more than 200 participants, including 43 international buyers from 22 countries. The programme also includes a Northeast Bazaar, cultural events and discussions on tourist access and regional tourism development. These are planned activities and attendance estimates; the event had not begun when the bulletin was issued.
