The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence said it seized 5.6 kg of heroin and arrested four people during an operation in Phagwara, Punjab, on 21 October. The Finance Ministry published the account on 23 October.
According to DRI, officers intercepted a bus and recovered packets from a backpack after acting on intelligence. The agency said action was taken under the NDPS Act. These are the agency’s allegations; arrest does not establish guilt.
