Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and South Korean counterpart Kang Shin-chul discussed co-development of military technology and maritime security during talks in Cebu.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh met South Korean Minister of National Defense Kang Shin-chul on the sidelines of the 13th ASEAN Defence Ministers’ Meeting-Plus (ADMM-Plus) in Cebu, Philippines, on October 28. According to India’s Ministry of Defence, the talks covered co-development of military technologies, cooperation between defence industries and maritime security in the Indo-Pacific.

The ministry said Singh is leading India’s delegation to the forum, which is being held under the Philippines’ chairmanship from October 28 to 29. ADMM-Plus brings together ASEAN members and eight dialogue partners, including India and South Korea.
